Kristi and I took a trip to New Jersey to do some striped bass (striper) fishing in some marsh flats and it was a blast catching them on topwater with Spooks, Chug Bugs, and other fun topwater lures. The bass were actually decent size but it’s always a blast when you can catch them on topwater the whole day!

Book Dan Schafer with Insomniac Fishing Charters in Stone Harbour NJ if you want to catch these fun fish even on the fly

I can’t remember the pizza place we ate at after but it was amazing and if you ever find yourself in Jersey- eat pizza. Peace out!

Great Video. That is where my love for saltwater fishing started many years ago. Hope you find some larger fish to the north.

When do you guys get to Montauk? I'm driving from Virginia to the North Fork of long island for some surfcasting.
