I find one can learn to cast and one can learn to swing a fly. these activities are intuitive and make sense. I am doing these things every day without much problem. what is difficult about steelhead fishing is where are the fish? but very few instructional videos tell you about reading water for steelhead. I don't understand why there is all this effort to instructing something like how to swing a fly, when the real difficulty is where the hell is the steelhead in the run?
