I went on a journey through the gauntlet of braided fishing lines. I found the SuperKast9 braid and was intrigued…

I have used a number of the other major brand braids on the market. I was skeptical of this braid and wondered if the “9 strand” claim was just a gimmick?

I’ll go over the features of this braid, as listed on the box. I’ll discuss how this braid compares to other brands. Finally, I’ll give my thoughts and personal experience with the braid.

Would you like to see the SuperKast9 braid compared to another brand? Leave a comment below and let me know what brand you would like to see this braid compared to.

I look for strength castability and no knots or tangles I think I will try that braid.

It’s probable a bit late in the season , but how about a top 10 name brand braided line face off ??

Category: abrasion resistance , casting distance , knot strength , and sensitivity , and lastly affordability .

    Great video….
I personally look for a braid that has good castability for both spinning and baitcasting, as well being fade resistant. 🎣🎣🎣

Great informative video. Like Kastking braid, did not like their mono at all. Two Stealth reels, no problems at all . I’m a Kastking believer.

Put some of this in 50lb on my speed demon and my only real complaint is I need to take off my backing because I'm casting almost the whole spool off when I need to bomb it out there

So I’m intrigued about this line, but what is the price for it? For example how much would it cost to buy a 300 yard spool of 30-40 lb?

I haven't found a braid I want to stick with at the moment. Mainly because of price. But as for why fade is important I would say for things that you have to use a hi-vis on. Ummm like a wacky rig. Semi slack and you're watching for that line to jump. Looks good though. Thanks

What are doing? Trying to make me switch over to SuperKast9? I guess I will have to give it a try now. Haha great video I'm glad you did it as I saw that you used this braid a lot and you know I am a huge fan of the KastKing Super Power braid.

Excellent analysis on braid my man. I'm really inclined to buy this line. I too have been victim to a lot of cast break offs and backlashes due to the abrasion and fraying. I use braid on a lot of my set ups mainly because I do a lot of dusk, night and morning fishing. Even on my finesse set ups, I still use braid with a fluorocarbon leader. Are you familiar with the FG knot? It's one of my personal favorites.

Ahhh perfect I was waiting for this video. I think I'm convinced to give this a try. I haven't had much luck with the more "supple" braids but after you saying that this is the middle of the road type braid I think I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the review brotha 👊
