In this episode, I decided to talk about Redfish Fishing during Spring. I discuss where these fish are located, the live bait and lures I use to target these fish, and the tackle necessary to catch these redfish.

This episode marks the beginning of “Tips Tuesdays” where I’ll be posting a new “Just the Tips” video every other week!

Thanks for the video, heading down to your area next weekend to visit my brother for a little fishing trip. He fishes the same area and has 2 Malibu Stealth-9 kayaks. He is sold on the DOA paddle tails with a jig head for almost any species of fish in the bay.

Great stuff, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I often hear people talking about targeting reds in the “deeper holes” then following them up the flat with the rising tide. How do you identify these deep holes to start with. Could you do a video on that? Showing their movements?

Great video. The only thing I would add to your artificial list is a top water. I’m partial to the Spook Jr. I did well with it last week just N of your area by looking for the mullet in the shallows. They don’t always get hooked up on top water but it’s fun watching them try.
