I didn’t have high hopes for this line given the price, but in the end I was surprised by the quality.

Probably find that the line doesn't fade so much as the urethane "wax" coating goes milky as the line passes over the tip guide under tension. UHMWPE line (aka Spectra & Dyneema) is very UV resistant. It is a misnomer to call this line Dyneema as there are numerous braided line manufacturers in China who are using this name without authorisation. It belongs to DSM Dyneema in Holland and they have battled hard in Chinese courts to protect the brand but it's like pushing shit up hill. The great majority of fibre manufacturers in China are using an inferior (and cheaper) manufacturing process called extrusion and lower quality control standards. The genuine Dyneema and Spectra fibres are made with a process called pultrusion. While this cheap line may well exceed your expectations, you would need to perform a breaking strength test to determine if it meets the manufacturers claims on the packaging, it's possible it does but unlikely. It may be that another line made from genuine Dyneema or Spectra fibres will be equal strength but up to 30% thinner or if equal diameter up to 30% stronger. Will this make a difference to the average fisherman who is fishing with a "30 lb" braid that is actually 20 lb? Probably not but I guess it's partly the principle of being duped into buying something that is basically a lie. Fishing line strengths and diameters are bandied about so much that they become almost meaningless and a rough guide at best. Competition fishing is never done with these cheap braids. Plenty of discussion about this on online forums and YouTube videos particularly in respect to the Power Pro rip off.

I would be wary of using cheap braids , I would not 15 pounds for pike too light .

Try this for a test, hang something that weighs 6kg on your 15lb ebay braid.Bet you it snaps at 4kg!not at knots!I run these types of tests all the time and more expensive braids, fluoros and monos come out winners!Best braid tested is finns original.

All of the Chinese lines exaggerate their breaking strength.  Simply divide the advertised strength by two (2) and you will be close.  You get what you pay for.

Ok quick update on some Chinese dyneema spectra, bought from china, ebay (20lb-Grey Tested at about 12lbs) (40lbs-Green Tested at about 21lbs) Spider-Cable green labeled as uk sold on ebay for 400m at £9.99 from in UK, but is china made braid (30lbs-green Tested about 16lbs) all these braids are as you can see about half there BS but they are thin-dia and not stiff, can be prone to wind-knotting but this was only at first. seems the 4 strands that make up these china braids are not all dyneema/PE but only 2 stands are! IMHO.
Just as a comparison i bought some TOP OF THE LINE 125yds  Berkley FireLine Tournament Exceed Fishing Braid in Crystal 30lbs and it tested ok at 30lbs ,,, But its very-thick,waxy and far to stiff – In truth i don't like this braid at all.
My conclusion is if you need a 20lb braid cheap!! buy a higher BS say 30-40lb of the china braids, as there thin in diameter and feel ok (not stiff). If only i could get a braid that feels like the china braid at its actual BS, that would be the braid i would use full stop,(if your reading this and know of any PLS message me!!!!) Until then il use the higher china braids and see how things go, as i'm only using it to spin for pike.
Seem my earlier labeling of being crap was a little premature judging by the (Berkley FireLine Tournament Exceed) offering this was honestly so thick and stiff it was unusable.

Thx Paul (ps this is only >MY< true opinion its not everyone's)

Ok – here is my two cents worth anyway. First batch I bought off ebay was 30 lb Chinese brand test and used it and abused it for two seasons. Very good line for the price I paid and caught many fish with 0 problems and very few tangles. THEN I decided to change it with another batch from China. 2nd time around was not fun. 1st cast was a snap off with new line and decided it wasn't wet and tried a lighter second cast. Tangle. Basically the same line (yellow die this time) was a fuck fest from day 1. I lost about 10 lures throughout the 3 or so weeks I was using it and lucky I didn't catch anything big. I am very skeptical to buy again and always spend the extra money on power pro or Berkley Fireline braid. Both are around $30 for 300 yards. You get easy two seasons with each brand. Line is the one thing I never skimp on now. $15 a season is nothing for the one thing that connects you to a good fish.

I did a break strength on dyneema braided line it was not good. I bought a 100 lb test, but it broke at 40 lb so less than half the strength so, you get what you pay for.
