This video shows how to tie a popular loop knot for fishing called the “Rapala Knot”, which is a very popular loop knot for angler around the world.

As you’ll see, it’s fairly easy to tie, and our preliminary tests on its knot strength have scored well.

    I like the bowline knot.. it dont have near as many twist as these knots which i would think would make them weaker.. I wonder why they didn't test that one. its the oldest one i bet

    canoeman knot for me. never had it fail ,even with tarpon… takes 10 seconds.
