After returning from our most recent GT fishing trip, I decided to make a film about the fishing gear used on the island. Showing what lures worked! Along with the rods, reels, and line. This video also includes unseen footage that was not featured in the MorningTide Fishing film. So get frothed up!!!

GT will not go after fish; but they most certainly will try to steal the lure right out of another fish's mouth. Big jacks of all manner are awesome fish, and when they are eating, other fish are eating also. I am very pleased that you use a lot of barbless hooks as they really do not lose more fish, and they really are a whole lot safer to be around.

Cavy! When you gonna trip to Hawaii for barrels? If you do come to Oahu, I'd love to shake hands with a legend! I'd also like to give you and Briggs a couple poppers that I make. Would be awesome to see you hookup with a lure I made. Aloha!

Hey Cavy i just purchased a penn slammer III 5500 it was all i can afford for now. I still need a good rod i can afford for top water plugs and stick baits here in South Carolina USA. We have red fish , blue fish , spanish and king mackerel, as well as tarpon and plenty of shark. Oh ya speckel sea trout too. Any way i have never got in to anything but live bait fishing and want a rod to use top water. Is 8'-0" a good choice and say med heavy sction ?
