Today was the first day out in the salt water in a few weeks. The weather was beautiful . I started off with the idea to look for some whiting and weakfish in the deep holes. with no luck i decided to check the inlet and to my surprise the ocean was flat. With only dead shrimp for bait and small river rods on board i decided to do some light tackle bottom fishing.

As always thank you for watching..tight lines Jettie Rockers…

We have been getting trigger fish here in recent years they go in the crab traps. Are they good eating? I know they have a very tough skin but I have never tried eating one.

So glad to see you back in the salt Mike… One of these 'nice' days when you aren't working, we need to buddy boat out to 100' and put some BSB, Trigs, Lanes and shoot, maybe even a couple Cobia in our coolers..

Nice to see ya back on the Salt👍, are those inline circle hooks? That’s strange so many gut hooks, according to FWC inline circle hooks are 90% more likely to hook in the lip 🤷‍♂️
