    @bebeejr i use to have the same problem with power pro until my friend showed me what he does when spooling the line take a rag and just damp it a little and pinch the line between the rag while your spooling it helps to moisten the braid and keep it from snapping i took it a step further and bought some line conditioner and used that while spooling and found that it let me cast about 5-10 ft futher with no more snaps

    I use Power Pro and alot of the time I snap my line during a cast, it doesn't break at the knot it breaks like 5 or 6 feet above the knot. I'm spending alot of money on this line am I doing something wrong or should I go to a new kind of fishing line.
