You are a good lure maker.
But you' been using that knife in the most dangerous way as well.

The hook hangers look like ordinary aluminum (or other metal) wire that has been twisted. The gauge of the wire, I would guess, is around 14 to 16?

Can and/or will anyone verify that?

then cut in half length ways, carve a little hook 'groove' down the middle of each peice. put ur hook in it (3/0), then glue it back together, paint it and add feathers or whatever and theres a DIY popper!!!!

    Two questions…
    1) What kind of wood are you using?
    2) What is the tool you are using to shape it in the beginning?

Finish it and show how it swims. I am making my own wood lure right now using a different technique. If you catch fish with that, good job.

Reminiscent of the banana shape Rapala uses in their taildancer series. Only upside down, though. Maybe I'll take a crack at it, and see if it works!
