Hey A: You summed it up nicely. Looking forward to your upcoming vid on leaders. For bass fishing, as strange as it seems, 3 lines on my reel is optimum: backing, braid, leader. I resisted the 3-on-1 initially on the basis that it was too complex, but for a myriad of combined reasons, I've gradually concluded that it really is worthwhile. As for which backing, which braid, which leader, I am liking inexpensive mono backing, translucent 15lb Invisi-Braid by SPIDERWIRE (125 yds is plenty), and a foot of 15lb fluoro leader material by MAXIMA, held on with a swivel. Just sharing my conclusion, not forcing my will on anyone. Cheers.

Great video! I went from Trilene to Stren to Power Pro and have never looked back. Braid us exactly how you described its characteristics.

Hi, great video. You should try the new Sunline BX2 braid. Smooth, quiet and never has issues. Also, doesn't require a backing to avoid slipping on the spool. Keep up the good work!
