    I'm a beginner in fishing and i have a question. Should you attach a weight to a crankbait line? Because having a weight on my line helps me cast farther.

    I use a 7:5:1 gear ratio reel and I have for awhile now gotta say I wouldn't change a thing on my crankbait setup just my own opinion though
